The Simpsons Game – asset creation for a Simpson game
Interesting post, especially because older Flash games often had to rely on clever visual tricks, prerendered assets, and careful 3D-style composition to create a strong look within technical limits.
I still find this kind of workflow useful to think about today. Even with newer tools, the early stage of shaping characters, objects, and visual direction is still very important. AI-assisted 3D tools can help explore rough concepts faster, but the real design decisions still come from understanding form, style, and how the final asset will be used in a game or interactive scene.
