IfcMax – IFC Importer
3ds Max 2022 – 3ds Max 2027

IFC Import plugins for 3ds Max 2022-2027 based on the IfcOpenshell  open source library. Please note that those plugins are under heavy construction.

ATTENTION:
To reduce download size, legacy 3ds Max 2017 – 2021 versions are provided seperately
3ds Max 2017 – 2021 downloads.

Advanced builds with improved features and performance are available upon request.

Features of the advanced builds:

• Multithreaded import and geometry meshing
• Instancing support where possible ( IfcMappedItem )
• Hierarchies ( IfcProject->IfcSite->IfcBuilding … )
• Dedicated layer(s) for each imported IfcProject
• Import of 2d Shapes/Curves ( Annotations, FootPrint … )

All mentioned features are more or less work in progress.
