IFC Import plugins for 3ds Max 2017-2026 based on IfcOpenshell, an open source library for IFC parsing and processing. Please note that those plugins are under heavy construction.

Features of the advanced builds:

• Multithreaded import and geometry meshing
• Instancing support where possible ( IfcMappedItem )
• Hierarchies ( IfcProject->IfcSite->IfcBuilding … )
• Dedicated layers for each imported IfcProject
• Import of 2d Shapes/Curves

All mentioned features are more or less work in progress.
