ATTENTION: 3ds Max 2027 support ready !
I am happy to announce that updated, free versions of the IfcMax <\/strong>importer plugins for 3ds Max 2017<\/strong> to 2027<\/strong> are available.
The new builds are optimized for faster import and more stable geometry triangulation. An extensive import log is now printed to the Maxscript Listener to help with failed imports and IFC analysis. The plugins are based on the latest alpha version of the IfcOpenshell<\/a><\/strong> open source framework.

Please note:<\/strong>
To better understand the interest in the plugins, downloads now require registration with a valid email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Installation: <\/strong>
After downloading the zip file, simply extract and copy the plugin file matching your 3ds Max version to the 3ds Max plugins folder. All builds for the available 3ds Max versions come within a single zip file. Please don\u2019t share the downloaded files, but forward this page to anyone interested instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Updates:<\/strong>
As IfcOpenshell is an ongoing project and the plugins are not extensively tested, errors and bugs may occur. Updates and fixes might be released silently at any time. Be sure to check the version string next to the download button from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IFC Import plugins for 3ds Max 2022-2027 based on the IfcOpenshell<\/a>  open source library. Please note that those plugins are under heavy construction.<\/p>\n

\nTo reduce download size, legacy 3ds Max 2017 – 2021 versions are provided seperately
\n3ds Max 2017 – 2021 downloads.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
