Some time ago i was asked to transfer the furry Yeti creature from the well known Yetiports Flashgames into a realtime capable 3d character. Realtime in the means of being playable on an iPhone/Mobile platform with limited realtime power.
The task turned out to be not only of technical nature, but from a design perspective too: How we could ever turn that furry creature into something that would get away and keep some visual key elements of the original using textures only ?

So here is the thing i came up with:

 

I also build a Mecanim Humanoid compatible rig which makes animation retargeting and blending a lot easier.
